David L. Callihan is a dedicated Civil War enthusiast who

David became interested in a different aspect of the war in 1987 when he began his quest to visit and photograph the graves of all of the Civil War generals, Union and Confederate. To date he has been to the grave sites of:

David resides in Dryden, NY where he continues to study and write about the Civil War. His first book, They Did Their Work Bravely: Civil War Generals Buried in Pennsylvania, was published in 2004 by Heritage Books (www.heritagebooks.com). His second book, Lest We Forget: The Grave Sites of the Union Civil War Generals Buried in the United States, was published in 2007 by Author House (www.authorhouse.com). He has had ten articles published in The Gettysburg Magazine.
